Description of marital home
16(1)Property that is or has been occupied by a person and his or her spouse as their family residence is a marital home, and if property that includes a marital home is used for a purpose in addition to a family residence, the marital home is that portion of the property that may reasonably be regarded as necessary to the use and enjoyment of the family residence.
16(2)Subsection (1) applies even though its application results in more than one marital home.
